Privacy Policy - Let Them In?

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-02

This Privacy Policy describes how Let Them In? ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.

Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Let Them In? ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile game. Let Them In? is a casual game in which you decide whether to let characters into your home. By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Effective date: July 2, 2026. If you have any questions, contact us at jessicaprimcesa2305@gmail.com.

Information We Collect

The App does not require you to create an account and does not ask for your name, email address, or phone number to play. We collect the following categories of information automatically:

  • Device information: device model, operating system version, language and region settings, app version, and network status.
  • Identifiers: app-generated identifiers (such as a Firebase installation ID or an anonymous RevenueCat ID) and, only if you grant permission, the device advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android).
  • Usage and gameplay data: game events, sessions, screens viewed, and interactions, collected through analytics tools to understand how the game is played.
  • Crash and performance data: crash reports, error logs, and diagnostics used to keep the App stable.
  • Purchase information: if you make an in-app purchase, we receive purchase receipts and transaction details from Apple or Google. We never see or store your payment card details.
  • Push notification token: a device token used to deliver notifications, if notifications are enabled.

Your game progress is stored locally on your device.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the game;
  • Understand how players use the App so we can improve gameplay and content;
  • Diagnose and fix crashes, bugs, and performance problems;
  • Display advertising, which supports the free version of the game;
  • Process and restore in-app purchases;
  • Send push notifications, if you allow them;
  • Remotely configure game features and run A/B tests;
  • Measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns.

We do not sell your personal information.

Advertising

The App shows ads served by Google AdMob, including banner ads, interstitial (full-screen) ads, and app-open ads.

  • Personalized ads are shown only where permitted and, on iOS, only if you grant the App Tracking Transparency permission. Personalized ads use your device advertising identifier to show ads more relevant to you.
  • Non-personalized ads are shown if you decline tracking. These ads are based on contextual information only, such as your general location (country) and the content of the App.

You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time in your device settings: on iOS under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, and on Android under Settings > Google > Ads (where you can also reset or delete your Advertising ID).

App Tracking Transparency and Your Choices

On iOS, the App asks for your permission before tracking, using Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. The permission prompt explains that this data is used to personalize ads and content.

  • If you tap Allow, the App and its advertising and attribution partners (Google AdMob, Meta, TikTok) may use your device advertising identifier for ad personalization and campaign measurement.
  • If you tap Ask App Not to Track, the advertising identifier is not used, tracking SDKs are limited accordingly, and you will see non-personalized ads instead.

Declining tracking does not limit your access to any part of the game. On Android, the App declares the AD_ID permission to serve ads; you can reset or delete your Advertising ID in your device settings at any time.

In-App Purchases

The App offers optional in-app purchases (for example, to unlock content or remove ads). Purchases are processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play; we do not collect or store your payment information.

We use RevenueCat to manage and validate purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat receives purchase receipts and an anonymous user identifier so that your purchases can be restored on the same or a new device. You can restore previous purchases at any time from within the App.

Analytics, Crash Reporting, and Session Replay

We use the following tools to understand usage and keep the App working well:

  • Firebase Analytics collects usage events (such as levels played and screens viewed) and general device information.
  • Firebase Crashlytics collects crash reports and diagnostic information when the App crashes or misbehaves.
  • Microsoft Clarity may record how you interact with the App's interface (taps, gestures, and screens) to help us find usability problems. These recordings relate to the App's screens, not to anything outside the App.
  • Expo Insights collects anonymous launch and version metrics to help us monitor releases.

The App also uses Firebase Remote Config to adjust game settings remotely and a secure over-the-air update service (delivered via Cloudflare) to ship bug fixes without requiring a store update. These services receive only technical information such as your app version.

Push Notifications

With your permission, the App may send push notifications (for example, game reminders or news) using Firebase Cloud Messaging. To deliver notifications, a device push token is generated and stored. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings, and the token is invalidated if you uninstall the App.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, which may collect information as described in their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them:

  • Google AdMob — advertising
  • Firebase (Google) — analytics, crash reporting, cloud messaging, remote configuration, authentication, and database services
  • RevenueCat — in-app purchase management
  • Meta (Facebook SDK) — app event logging and ad campaign measurement (advertiser ID collection is disabled in our configuration)
  • TikTok Ads — ad campaign measurement and attribution
  • Microsoft Clarity — usability analytics and session replay
  • Expo — app build, update, and launch metrics services
  • Cloudflare — delivery of over-the-air app updates
  • Google Play Services — core services on Android devices
  • Apple — App Store purchases and services on iOS devices

Data Retention

We retain automatically collected data only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. Analytics and crash data are retained according to the retention settings of the services listed above (typically between 2 and 26 months, after which they are deleted or aggregated). Purchase records are retained as long as necessary to provide you with your purchases and to comply with legal obligations.

Game progress stored locally on your device is deleted when you uninstall the App.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information processed by the App. Data sent to our service providers is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), and the third-party providers we use maintain their own industry-standard security programs.

However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The game's theme and content are intended for a general audience of teens and adults.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at jessicaprimcesa2305@gmail.com and we will delete that information promptly.

Your Privacy Rights (GDPR, CCPA, LGPD)

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), or the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD), including the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;
  • Request correction or deletion of your personal data;
  • Object to or restrict certain processing;
  • Withdraw consent at any time (for example, by disabling tracking in your device settings);
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at jessicaprimcesa2305@gmail.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. Because most data we collect is tied to anonymous identifiers rather than your name, we may ask you for technical details (such as your device advertising identifier) to locate your data.

Account and Data Deletion

The App does not require you to create an account, and no registration data (name, email, or password) is collected to play.

You can delete your data as follows:

  • Local data: uninstalling the App permanently deletes all game progress and settings stored on your device.
  • Analytics, advertising, and purchase data: to request deletion of data held by us or our service providers (such as Firebase, RevenueCat, or Microsoft Clarity), email us at jessicaprimcesa2305@gmail.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request". We will delete the associated data and confirm completion within 30 days.
  • Advertising identifier: you can reset or delete your device advertising identifier at any time in your iOS or Android settings.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when we add new features or change service providers. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, notify you within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
